The Rock is like someone who undergoes a buffet line and desires to set everything on his plate. As if being WWE winner isn't enough, Rockas film career is experiencing an additional (or can it be third) wind. PWInsider.com reports that Dwayne aThe Rocka Johnson is floating the notion of being next Star Wars film. As Rock was promoting his latest film, G.I this news comes. Joe: Retaliation: While doing promotion for his new G.I. Joe film in Australia, WWE winner The Rock has been telling the media he desires to take the newest Star Wars film directed by J.J. Abrams. Star Wars: Episode Seven is scheduled to a 2015 release; though one would feel that release will be pushed back as a result of the time involved making the picture. Rockas last picture, Snitch, was released last month. He's two more movies due out in 2010 and is defined to begin shooting a Hercules film after WrestleMania 29. Now comes phrase of yet another venture in to another common tradition movie line. Stone is just a active man without a doubt. But is he undoubtedly too busy to become a true WWE champion? Seemingly. His non-wrestling routine affects not merely the amount of time he can dedicate to the craft that put him in the public attention, additionally, it affects those who closely assist him when he does appeara'most lately, John Cena. As an example, PWInsider.com (via WrestlingInc.com) reports that Cena intentionally was kept off the most up-to-date Raw show because Rock was absent selling his picture. Therefore instead of having Cena come out on his own to drive the forthcoming WrestleMania match, he was created out of the show, according to the report: They went against the idea of having Cena turn out and cut an in-ring coupon since The Rock would have looked weak perhaps not being there to respond to it. In addition they did not want to put it available that Rock was in South Korea at a GI Joe film premiere. The decision was built to just air the video package because of their match. That is a silly step for WWE Creative to get, intentionally maintaining Cena off its flagship show. If he's injured or tending to several other crisis, that's a very important factor. But to purposely keep WWEas face off its A-show out of fear of making his opponent seem weak? Stone is definately not a weak wrestling character. He does not have to be aprotecteda by not letting his adversary on WWEas grandest phase to appear on TV. But what it will show is the pitfall of having a part-timer as WWEas key title holder. Rock is a transitional champion. Since taking the subject, he has managed it just once, and that was on a pay-per-view. His performances on free TV have now been restricted to ads and a few scraps with The Shield and Punk. His next title protection, against Cena at WrestleMania 29, probably will be his last. The WWE Universe deserves more from its top winner. The subject does not need to be up every time he sets foot in the band, however the success does owe it to the Universe to at least wrestle on TV and at home shows. But WWE probably did not spend Rock to achieve that. The business probably paid him to do exactly what he's donea'help WWEas two greatest current stars get over in breathtaking fashion. (WWE.com picture) He has wiped Punkas scent off the title belt. He now could be setting the stage for a special return by Cena to the top of the WWE pile. As Rock reportedly has been reserved for some more WWE hearings this year and has promised to seem at next yearas WrestleMania, a way of turning down the move. The Newest Orleans show might be shaping up because the last go-round for two of WWEas best legends in Rock and The Undertaker, if that does occur. As a slam against Rock this should maybe not be misunderstood. He must be acclaimed for helping as needed and coming in. He's not just one to bite the hand that once given him. Remember, Rock was not earned for prolonged or multiple subject reigns and long-term feuds. Because the range from aMy Waya goes, he did what he had to do and saw it through without exemption. And he did so in the typical over-the-top Rock fashion that original wrestling supporters attended to love, know and appreciate. Follow Bill Atkinson on Twitter at @BAtkinson1963.
