Spurs have been handed a boost on the injury front as Gareth Bale has returned to training with the Welsh national team.
The flying wing wizard left Spurs fans with hearts in their mouths on Friday when he had to come off against Scotland because of an ankle injury.
Thankfully he appears to have recovered from the knock, while he was also ill, and has returned to training with Wales prior to their clash with Croatia on Tuesday night, meaning he should be ready for Spurs when they return to the Liberty Stadium at the weekend to play Swansea.
"He's been ill and had a knock on his ankle, but he wanted to play. He said he felt fine so that's why we started him.
"All we can do is wrap him up in cotton wool. If he is not ready, then we can't risk him. We won't because we have to be fair to Tottenham.
