Ranking the Tottenham People in 1-0 Reduction to Fulham - Bleacher Record

Scott Parker: 5 Parker was improving bounds and leaps, specially in his performances against Arsenal and West Ham. Unfortunately, he has regressed somewhat ever since then, as his play on the ball was much too slow on Sunday. Scottie worked incredibly hard and questioned effectively for the ball, but he is missing the imagination and power in the years ahead. Gareth Bale: 4.5 A poor performance for Bale, specially by his lofty standards. The Welshman picked up an injury in the very first half, taking place without any one around him and grabbing at his Achilles. In hindsight, maybe Gareth should have been replaced at that point, seem to create a chance and could as he never found space after that. He drifted further and further right back up the frequency, also getting the ball in his or her own half after clearances, while the fit wore on. He lacked that leading edge that he was full of 2-3 weeks before. Mousa Dembele: 5.5 Dembele did well keeping the ball in midfield against his old team, demanding well and pushing up the field. Unfortunately, whenever a target was needed quickly he never found that ultimate ball to slice the defense open and was flourished late in the fit. Gylfi Sigurdsson: 4 Sigurdsson had been strengthening considerably recently, but he took a step back against Fulham. He failed to become involved much in the motion and was inefficient when he did. Getting him down late in the competition was the best move for Spurs, but ideally this was just an for the Icelander. Clint Dempsey: 4.5 Dempsey came on as a half-time replacement for Michael Dawson, but he failed to have the same influence against his old team as he did at Craven Cottage earlier in the summer season. When Spurs were pursuing an objective, the American was very inefficient, taking photographs at any opportunity, irrespective of how impossible or silly. therefore it is good he got a good go out, to be fair, Clint was building his first appearance since injury. Ben Carroll: 6 A truly encouraging efficiency from the 20-year-old Englishman, who came on for Dembele and revealed some fine imagination. Carroll's move that was slipped toward Emmanuel Adebayor was inches from making an equalizer.
