Trey Burke: Good

Holy crap. Michigan, which spent the majority of its Sweet 16 game against Kansas retaining things just close enough that you couldnat quite call it for the Jayhawks just yet, somehow in the end pulled out an 87-85 overtime win. Effectively, I shouldnat say somehow a' I know precisely how they did it, and the answer is aon the trunk of Trey Burke.a The sophomore is the Wolverinesa best player (although the best player on the floor tonight may have been newcomer Mitch McGary, who concluded with 25 details and 14 rebounds), and as he went tonight, so went the group. Burke was held scoreless in the initial half, and Kansas went in to the break up 40-34. From then on, Burke obtained 23, and, well, I already told you what happened in the overall game. And none of those 23 points were greater, or ballsier, or more amazing, than the game that was sent by the three to overtime. Enough of my blabbering: hereas the three. Fine line between being truly a widely-ridiculed goat, as Burke would certainly have been had that (fairly outrageous) chance perhaps not gone in, and the author of a March Madness classic. It so happens that SportsGridas own Matt Rudnitsky is a Michigan male, and he was texted by me right after the shot to obtain an insta-reaction. The response: My heart still hasnat crushed Who could blame him? Perhaps not me. You didnat have to be a UM fan to comprehend what you saw when Burke sank that. Talking about which: I apologize to one other people in my own house for the audio I produced when Burke sank that. Actually: no, I donat. The moment was significantly more than worthy. Today Iam down to watch that shot 100 more times, and I suggest you do exactly the same. UPDATE: Any particular one person on the Michigan bench positively jumps up in celebration ahead of the ball goes into, right? Iam not only seeing things? He might are becoming nearly as notorious as Burke if the chance misseda but obviously his confidence wasn't missing.
