For now, CAA activities' football class will handle Roc Nation's game agency organization and will be officially be called Roc Nation Sports. Scott Boras may be the big name adviser in baseball currently, but CAA Sports' baseball team is not any slouch either. In the past two years the group has negotiated contracts for Ryan Braun, Matt Cain, Ryan Zimmerman and Buster Posey. Especially, Cano will soon be paired with Brodie Van Wagenen, certainly one of CAA Sports' top football agencies. Jay-Z will not be directly associated with negotiation deals between Cano and the Yankees, but the entertainment genius has not ruled it out for potential Roc Nation Sports consumers. If and when Jay-Z becomes an avowed soccer agent, he might swiftly become the agent on the block. Envision Bryce Harper, Clayton Kershaw and other growing MLB stars shooting their agencies and signing on with Roc Nation Sports. It could be a shock spark in the baseball world, but nonetheless a spark the sport is in dire need for and Robinson Cano could have very well set the trend together with his shift.
