Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club's Copperhead Course is the host of the Tampa Bay Championship. The course has previously served as the host of the 2003-2006 Chrysler Championship; 2007-2008 PODS Championship; and the 2009- 2012 Transitions Championship.
Copperhead is a 7,340 yard par 71 designed by Larry Packard in 1972. It features 76 bunkers, 8 water hazards and 70 acres of rough. The primary turf type is Bermuda. Fairways are cut to 0.450 inches, and the rough to 2.5 inches.
Innisbrook's Superintendent is Ryan Stewart, a graduate of Elmwood College in Scotland, and a member of the GSCAA for eight years. He has been at Innisbrook for ten years, preparing for the 2003-2006 Chrysler Championship, Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, Palm Harbor, Fla.; 2007-2008 PODS Championship, Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, Palm Harbor, Fla.; 2009-2012 Transitions Championship, Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club, Palm Harbor, Fla.
