'Stomach cramps,'I say, 'Are you sure you're okay to go?'She says, 'try and stop me.' I'm then packed off to the shops for immediate supplies. I am told by her she requires a snickers and a drink, no doubt guaranteed ways to defeat a virus. I return to find her in full Villa garb looking pale. About half an hour later we fall out of a taxi and enter the Holte Pub. Its rammed at the club. After our recent work everyone's in fine fettle, swilling down the alcohol. Their a relaxed atmosphere, without the anxiety of recent weeks. Nice to truly have a game at an effective time as well. Real soccer for proper gamblers. After her pint of strong bow and a take a seat the Mrs wants. Seats to be found out by time. Long may we rule. Match: Gabriel Agbonlahor has found a thigh injury. Being fully a sprinter he will grab a reasonable few niggles so I am not surprised yet I am disappointed however. He's been in form. We shall miss his energy and pace and his new variety of goals. N'Zogbia requires his invest a starting make of Guzan, Lowton, Vlaar, Baker, Bennett, Westwood, Delph, Weimann, Bowery and the spectacular Benteke. It is a slow start in what feels like a curiously subdued atmosphere. Traveling home and away tells you one thing: Recently, we're calm on our journeys and perform more fluid soccer. Villa Park is really a demanding mistress. This grand old Victorian club gives a brief history and hope with it. It is as if the people are disturbed by her. The reduced Fulham turnout isn't helping. Their is not enough of them to complete the lower portion of the away end. Fulham are notorious travellers but still... After some cautious property play from Villa we sooner or later discover an on 25' minutes. Weimann finds Benteke with a mix. His shot is shoveled by benteke over the top place with a spooning boot. Close but no cigar, boy. Central to any or all our fighting movement is Charles N'Zogbia. He appears dynamic today and might be our most useful chance of making a chance. He has a great possiblity to report Villa's first when he meets Benteke's byline move six yards out. His snap effort is palmed away remarkably by Fulham shot-stopper Mark Schwarzer. That was a save to his left. Leading stuff. Each and every time Matthew Lowton gets the ball, cries of 'shooooot' ring round the arena. He is playing very well again currently, overlapping and cutting in with the ball. N'Zogbia requires the ball off him and goes on a diagonal run toward purpose, releasing the ball from thirty yards out. Fulham keeper, Mark Schwarzer, is in great form, parrying the ball away by having an upward arching save your self. Still another Villa attempt moves begging, this time around from Weimann. Again, Schwarzer parries. He will take some beating today. Today Weimann is lacking his border. The boy seems tired. Half-time duly arrives and we check out the concourse. The Mrs is holding it together though sittingstanding for 45' minutes has not helped. She is consoled by numerous snacks and drinks. The ability of Hula-Hoops can't be underestimated. That and alcohol. We return to out seats while the second-half meanders alive. A superb chance is crafted by fulham to simply take the lead. Our defence is split by brian Ruiz down the center, delivering Berbatov on his way. The creative Bulgarian waltzes in to out penalty box. This may certainly be a goal.... No, he's hit the surface of the post. Someone screams 'wake the **** up, Villa'! Well said that man. The final ball seems a bit sluggish today. If Stoke away was a buzz then Fulham in the home happens to be a more numbing experience. Unsure why as our report against Fulham in the Premier League is huge. You had need to return back quite a distance to locate if they last beat us at Villa Park. Brede Hangeland makes an unhealthy settlement in his field, very nearly laying it down for N'Zogbia. A curling left-footed effort is sent by the French magician past Schwarzer. Its one which and a lovely target has been coming. 1-0 Villa We keep coming back down seriously to earth with a lump. For around the millionth game in a row Villa make a mistake, rating their minute own goal in 4 games. Fabian Delph is too much forward for the Fulham place. He leaps, grazes the ball with his mind and then put it into our own net. It's still another ridiculous, needles share. 1-1 N-Zogbia is replaced by Sylla on 68' minutes. Within minutes of the overall game restarting he goes in with a one legged concern, his bodyweight fully behind it. A Fulham player goes up in the air....then comes down again in a painful heap. No play acting on this one. That was a crushing bit of business by the French enforcer. Apartment Park dislike figure, Phil Dowd gets out his cards..... its yellow. That was close. Well, at least the Fulham players know Sylla. he's on the pitch. One minute later, Brett Holman replaces Bowery and on 76' minutes Bent replaces Andi Weimann. We now look disjointed and uncomfortably though possession continues to be exchanged with not really a lot happening. At some time Joe Bennett, with Villa participants streaming forward, launches from about 40 yards out. It is a pathetic attempt that dribbles wide of the article. I watch it die such as a fart. Lambert is not satisfied and he lets him know it. I grumble to myself and shake my head. At the conclusion of the game, after good quality pressure play we build a fantastic chance on the break. Fabian Delph is left with an opportunity to beat the ball in to the top right hand corner when the ball finds him at the post. Their a tight angle nevertheless the purpose are at his mercy. May he earn himself?.... No, he is able to maybe not. As opposed to celebrating a successful goal he seeks for a pigeon rather. A terrible end from the player who's put a genuine change in today. That's it. Phil Dowd sends home to us with a place. Remaining rating 1-1 Post-Match: After leaving the Holte Pub we walk straight passed Matt Lowton, suited and booted. I'd be embarrassed to move up and ask my midriff to be signed by him. He's very down seriously to earth I am told. Very friendly. However, it's my abdomen. Personally I think a little deflated that people haven't got the win. Undoubtedly, Gabriel Agbonlahor was an enormous loss for people today. His presence and connection to the club have included a importance to his recent performances. Let us hope he is straight back for our trip to United.
