Bolton were the greater part for 90 minutes, but a really late goal from Carlos Edwards offered an important 3 points to Ipswich Town. Bolton were on a very good work of type entering this match, and it's easy to observe after winning five on the trot a director would not want to make several changes. Adjustment was made just one by dougie Freedman to the beginning XI, spinning Davies, Kevin out and Davies, Craig in. Adam Bogdan, who has been out the past a couple of weeks with damage, returned to the sub's table. Andrew Lonergan started again. I'd not read an excessive amount of in to this. Just because he is on the bench doesn't mean Bogdan is 100% suit. Both sides looked great on the counter attack in the early portions of the match. Ipswich really had the higher possibilities, putting one header to the side of the internet and requiring a save your self from Lonergan on another header. Bolton didn't stress although. When attacking they held organization defensively, and was able to look dangerous. By the 20 second level, Wanderers were really edging control, and frantically looking for a precise final ball. Unfortuitously for the Whites, it was it was found by Ipswich who first. Daryl Murphy was unmarked at the post, but he made a total hash of it, and Bolton were let off the land. In fact, since the half hour mark arrived and went, most might have decided that Ipswich were looking the higher side. Town finally won their first corner kick at the 38th minute, and Bolton were trying to be in great danger. David Ngog were able to clear the threat and made his in the past. The game got really scrappy as both parties upped their attempts to score before the break. Neither succeeded. A first half that could generously be called "unglamorous" concluded 0-0. Dougie will need to have got in his people' ears at the break, since they arrived very strongly in the 2nd half. Alas, this was almost terrible thanks to a Zat Knight problem in the 50th minute. Luckily for him, Murphy botched the opportunity yet again. Besides that, Bolton actually begun to keep control in the second half. Kevin Davies came on for Craig Davies a few minutes later. Not just a major tactical change, but at the least Dougie was trying. Davies did have the ability to discover Ngog in the box, but his header was only wide. Ipswich appeared most unlikely to report now. Many Bolton supporters needed Stu Holden in the future on, but Dougie was not involved. At the stroke of 90 minutes, when everyone had resigned themselves to a, the ball dropped to Carlos Edwards in the Bolton penalty box. He got two attacks at the apple, and were able to place the second one in the back of the web. Ipswich Town, themselves preventing relegation, will undoubtedly be excited to have picked up an important three points in that spectacular fashion. When we are honest, this is simply not a huge blow to Bolton. Five points out of the playoffs with eight suits to get is certainly feasible, and the club were never planning to win 15 in a line. The point was wanted by freedman however. He became popular main defense Craig Dawson for striker Marvin Sordell and told his part to go for it. The sole results of that was Daryl Murphy going 1-on-1 with the owner. Andy Lonergan was around it, and a great save held the scoreline at 1-0. That has been all she wrote.
