2013 aGolfas Most Wanteda a' Longest Driver

Place spent 36 months revising and building what we think is the better club assessment processes on the market today. AThe staff of MyGolfspy greeted 2013 with the single goal of publishing the comprehensive and most comprehensive driver check of 2013. Why? As the client has been grossly under-served by the major magazines. ANothing is ever complete and every one gets a trophy. How can that help the consumer? We believe you deserve better. We think you deserve a team test where effects arenat tainted by the natural conflict of interest that comes from assessment groups from the same companies whose offer dollars pay the expenses. YouAdeserveAa team test where a logo, or color, or what some man considers intangibles like sound, looks and feel holds no weight, where innovation is onlyArecognizedAwhen it works, and where the ultimate results are predicated on performance and not really a damn thing more. You deserve a test where businesses of all shapes reach compete, and where the final results, what they could be, are supported by actual knowledge. We call that being Datacratic. To make it happen, we reached out to 17 different golf companies, spent well over 30 hours testing 17 different versions from 13 different golf companies. As an organization our testers hit over 3000 golf shots, and distinct data points were collected over 41,000 by MyGolfSpy. Today weare pleased to bring you the results of the largest head to head team check weave ever done. Monday: DistanceTuesday: Accuracy.Wednesday: Over all Benefits and crowning of -A2013 aGolfas Most Wanted Drivera Tomorrow accuracy will be tackled by us, but today weare speaking distance. We know that distance is, and can be king. You show a guy to me who advertises the absolute most appropriate driver on the planet, and Iall show you a guy who doesnat offer several drivers. Show me the best driver in golf, and Iall show you whatas likely to end up in a lot of golf bags this season. With results from all of our testers taken into account, listed below are the MyGolfSpy ratings for the longest driver in golf. We were really shocked to locate TaylorMadeAoccupyingAboth the number 1 and # 2 locations for overall range, when we crunched the numbers. The performance was definitely simple, while we heard a lot of grumbles about paint in both cases. The newest RBZ Stage 2 was the definitiveAstandout performer, as the R1 was great, for length alone. While it might not look like a lot of a gap between no 1 and no 2, it was the single biggest gap between any club and the club that finished behind it. MoreAsurprisingAstill, Callawayas 2 excellent 2013 driver (RAZR Fit Xtreme, and XHot) completed 3rd and 4th respectively behind both TaylorMade clubs. As as some arenat much going to want to hear it, for 2013 anyway, the largest names in golf have created the best drivers in golf. For people who want to drill down a bit more to get a notion how the leading individuals performed for a distinct pair of testers, we separate people in to two groups (by swing speed), and recalculated the ratings for all the groups in our test: Our larger move rate people (>100 MPH) all tried with the Pro/Tour design heads stiff or x-stiff shafts. While 2 of the 3 top finishers from the overall (TaylorMadeas RBZ Stage 2 and R1) top 3 remained in the top 3 for our moreAaggressiveAswingers, Callawayas RAZR Fit XTREME proved to be the greatest overall for the quicker swing pace people within our test. Itas registered in the top 5 by Callawayas different driver, the XHot (greater move rate players tested with the Pro version). Fans of smaller manufacturers (and something that works) is going to be very happy to see that the under-appreciated AirForce One DF from PowerBilt used its own against a few of the industryas large dogs. Our lower move rate guys (low 80as to middle 90as) all reach regular heads (where relevant) and non-tour shafts. Worth noting is that the top two finishers among this groupAfeatureAultra-light shafts, which if you were to think the marketing, might be enough to take into account the range. The standard-weight PING G25, also proved to be a serious contender for the average to below average move speed audience. Probably the greatest shock from these results is how well the Titleist 913 D2 done for slower move speeds. Titleist is generally regarded as a brand for better, greater swing rate participants, but the 913as performance indicates it shouldnat be neglected by the typical player. Ultimately, the Adams Speedline Super S that some might overlook, but never throughout our test was it not even close to the combination. Make sure to check back tomorrow when we publish the specific precision effects and again on Wednesday when we mention Golfas Most Wanted Driver of 2013 and publish every one of the information from our test. Also be sure once we publish a the numbersa search at all 17 groups in our test to always check straight back next week.
